Sub : Implementation of Right to information Act, 2005 – reg.

                        It is to bring to the notice of all Trade and Public that The Right to Information Act, 2005 (hereinafter referred to as the Act) has been passed by the parliament and has received the assent of the President of India on 15th June, 2005. The citizen can obtain information under this Act, after the 120th day of the enactment of the Act, i.e. 12th October, 2005.

 

                        Therefore, in pursuance of Section 4(1) (b) of the Act, the following is published.

 

(I)                     The particulars of facilities available to Citizen for obtaining information under this Act, is furnished below :

 

                        Any person who desires to obtain any information under this Act, shall make a request in terms of Section 6(1) of the Act, to the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) or Central Assistant Public Information Officer (CAPIO) as the case may be (details thereof be published by CBEC) during the working hours i.e. between 09.45 hrs. to 18.45 hrs. or visit following websites.

Any person desiring to obtain information pertaining to Central Excise Rules and Regulations may approach “Information and Facilitation Counters” (IFC) set up at the following offices under this Commissionerate.

(II)                    Directory of employees in jurisdiction of Central Excise Commissionerate, Ahmedabad – I is annexed as “Annexure - A”.

 

(III)                   The details of monthly remuneration received by the officers and employees of Central Excise Commissionerate, Ahmedabad – I is “Annexure–B”.

 

(IV)                  The details of disbursement (i.e. actual expenditure incurred) budget head wise in respect of Central Excise Commissionerate, Ahmedabad – I is annexed as “Annexure – C”.

 

                         The Trade Associations/Chamber of Commerce and the Members of the RAC/PGC are requested to bring this to the notice of their members/constituents.
