3.       The offer of appointment (Memorandum) as Inspector of Central Excise & Customs to the individual candidate(s) is being issued separetely, a copy of which will be endorsed to the respective Commissionerates.

 

4.       The seniority of the above mentioned candidates will be fixed as per the rank obtained in the concerned Staff Selection Commission examination and existing orders/ instructions, on the subject.

2.                The Commissionerate wise posting of the officers posted to Rajkot Sector will be decided by the Commissioner, Central Excise, Rajkot.

 

3.                All the abovementioned officers should note that they should exercise the option for fixation of pay in accordance with the instructions contained in Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure (Implementation Cell) Office Memorandum issued from F.No. I/I/2008-IC dated 13.09.2008. In terms of this O.M., a Government servant has an option under FR 22(I)(a)(I) to get his pay fixed in the higher post either from the date of his promotion, or from date of his next increment, viz 1st July of the year.

4.                The abovementioned officers may be relieved immediately to join their new place of posting and their dates of  relieving/ joining should be reported to this office for information and record.
