Sub.: Constitution of Public Grievances Committee for redressal

  of Public Grievances for the Block Year 2007-2008.

                        A new Public Grievances Committee for the Central Excise Commissionerate, Ahmedabad – I, for the Block year 2007-2008 is hereby set up to hear the grievances orally as well as examine written complaints of Trade and Industries on matters relating to Central Excise. The Committee shall work under the Chairmanship of the Commissioner of Central Excise, Ahmedabad – I. The following persons would constitute the Committee :-

02.                   The Committee shall meet once in a month on the date decided after mutual consultation. The meetings will ordinarily be held at the Commissionerate Headquarters unless a different venue is decided by the Chairman. The members of Trade and Industries are welcome to send their difficulties / grievances by name to the Commissioner of Central Excise, Ahmedabad – I.

03.                   The term of the Committee will expire on 31.12.2008. The address of the Secretary of the Committee is as under:
